it's amazing how much things change in two years. i can't believe how different it all is. i hope if anyone reads this and we don't talk anymore that [s]he is doing well. things have changed so much that i actually study now. the last time i updated this i was dropping out of college. i did p.s. and then i started again. and now i am in a different major and therefore must study for my bus mhr 400 midterm. good luck to me!

hey kids. been in the new apartment for a little more than a week and a half now. the thing that sucks the most is that we have no internet yet. not so much fun. been using the computer lab in the library so far to check e-mail and pay fees and such. this year should definately be interesting though. we'll see what happens with everything. i mean working/paying for school/apartment. mmmmm, fragments are awesome. anyway, this week has actually been pretty awful so far. well, today wasn't too bad and neither was monday. but other than that, pretty terrible. well, i guess today sucked too. and i lost my syllabus for ceramics ALREADY so it should be interesting making up the rest of my supply list and explaining to my instructor that i left it at columbus clay. or possibly on the bus. not fully sure which.

anyway, i'm going to the midnight madness sale at blick tonight. anyone else going? it better be awesome. and they better have some kick ass art supplies. or the ceramic supplies i need anyway. well, i can always pick up a new sketchbook and a new pad of good drawing paper. after all, i need to redo a lot of my projects from drawing before my portfolio review in the fall. oh, and if marc doesn't mind i'm going to redo that sketch i did of him in drawing on some nice paper and turn it in. well, i guess i really hope he doesn't mind as i'm going to turn it in anyway. i also have to spend some time outside of hayes doing another structure drawing of hughes. oh, and hopefully i can find something interesting to do some gesture drawings of. ewwwww, portfolio review. oh, note to self, buy some canvas board. well, maybe. i can't decide if i want to redo my first 206 project on good drawing paper or illustration board. fortunately for me i have both.

ew, this entry is too long so now i'm stopping. sorry i didn't cut. but i have that saved on my laptop which is without internet currently. well, i'm off to catch the east res back to the apartment and then hop on it back to get back to campus to catch the 18 over to restaurant japan so matt can give me a ride to blick. mmmmm, public transportation. i would seriously die without it.

wow, i actually had some interesting stuff happen to me at work tonight. but SOMEONE isn't here to hear the stories. so maybe he can just not here them because i'll most likely forget them by the time he comes back.

but, as a reminder to me:
i served my 7th grade science teacher who remembered me by name but i still don't remember her at all.
i had the party room as my section for the first time and had a big ass group of koreans but still did very well.
AND
this guy came in and 411 had given his wife the wrong restaurant's phone number so when he called them to apologize and say that he couldn't come pick up the order because it was the wrong restaurant and he didn't know where that one was//couldn't get there if he did they bitched him out for 10 minutes. i felt really bad for the guy considering he could have just not shown up at all but was nice enough to call. and i don't understand how bitching at him was going to make him decide to go to the other restaurant.

and i had like, three tables who never sit in the party room usually go in there and they all happened to be tables that i waited on the last time they had come in. but that wasn't as interesting.

i saw the saddest thing ever today. there was this baby possum limping around on the grate outside of knowlton and we were sad because it couldn't figure out how to get off the grate and it was all alone and then we realized it was MISSING AN ARM. i was sooooooooo freaking sad. i wanted to save it but there was nothing we could do. we called the osu vet place and they transferred us to animal control who didn't pick up so we couldn't save poor dorothy//perry//whatever his/her name ended up being. but it was SO cute. ack, it was so sad.

for those who care i think i'm finally getting over this weird sinus infection thingy that i've had for about three weeks now.

i HATE HATE HATE art 208. well, i really hate the instructor. what a cock face. rarr. he makes me mad. the project we had to do makes me mad too because it took me FOREVER to figure out how to burn my imovie project onto a cd-r. oh man, what a night. it was crazy.

soooooo, guess who told her mom today that she really hates her church and doesn't believe in a lot of it? could it be me?!?!? yeahhhhh.... that was an interesting conversation.

and i hate being a girl//having hormones because it makes already stressful situations even worse such as the conversation i just mention, having to go to work AGAIN when you're really sick and just want to go to sleep and possibly die, or trying to figure out how to do something you have no idea how to do in the first place on a computer that isn't yours. bleck.

this is from the david's bridal picture section thingy...[i was horrifically bored]

Before Prom I was picked up (from a local park that we were taking pictures) in a horse and carriage. Then taken to dinner, after dinner the carriage was filled with four dozen red and white roses. We then rode downtown to a different park (it was dark by then) where candles were lit all the way around a gazebo and music was playing just for us. My boyfriend of over 1 year then proposed to me. It was so romantic, and the white dress made it perfect! Thanks David's!!!

other than the fact that they're in high school and only dated for a year that is so cute.

i totally went to the tom jones concert tonight. it was excellent by the way. and yes, i spent too much money on a t-shirt, got shuffled around WAY more than necessary by a not very bright usher, and had beer spilled down the back of my brand new shirt, but it was still awesome. i think the sentence before this makes not so much sense. that one too. *shrug* i still got to see tom jones.

there were SO MANY PANTIES thrown on stage. awesome. he's 65 and STILL gets all the ladies. it's because his voice is awesome and he thrusts he pelvic area SO much but SO well. but he's 65...

p.s. i'm really going to have to understand that some people are just assholes who will never change. *shrug* i just hope the people he's totally screwing over right now get it before they get totally messed with because it's no fun. oh well...

so, i was working right? and it was thursday night and we weren't all that busy but i was cleaning a table and the hostess malin comes up to me and says "miyoung! i just had to clean B1 and it was so gross!" [well, maybe not just like that because she's from cambodia and isn't exactly the best english speaker] and i say "really? what was so bad?" and apparently the woman who was sitting the booth side had her period all over the seat. and we're not completely sure if she even knew because she made no attempt to clean it up and walked out just talking away on her cell phone. she was wearing jeans too! i mean seriously, she bled through her jeans all over the booth. grossssssssssss.
